On the night of July 11, at approximately 11:40 p.m., police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency crews were called to a fire at the Flower Fox business, located at 70 Lacewood Drive in Halifax. Emergency responders arrived to find the business had been targeted in what is being described as a deliberate act.
According to reports, a suspect wearing dark clothing approached the storefront and broke the front window. The suspect is then said to have thrown an object into the business, which is believed to have started the fire that followed. After the incident, the suspect fled the area on a bicycle, and their whereabouts remain unknown at this time.
