Halifax Regional Police is issuing a traffic/parking advisory in relation to tomorrow’s Metallica concert.

 

The gates open at 2 p.m. and an increase in both vehicle and pedestrian traffic around Citadel Hill is expected from noon until approximately midnight. Motorists should expect some delays around the concert site during this time period. Concert-goers being dropped off or picked up are encouraged to select a nearby location other than the concert site itself.

 

Additionally, the public is advised that there will be limited parking on Ahern Avenue.

 

At the conclusion of the concert at approximately 11 p.m., it is expected there will be traffic disruption around Citadel Hill as people leave the venue. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area at that time if at all possible.
