Set to open its doors at the Halifax Shopping Centre on August 12th, Sephora is scheduled to open in just one month, and only days before my birthday (coincidence I think not). After a horrible experience with Sears a few months back, I am more than excited to be able to purchase my Lancome makeup elsewhere.



For those of you who are Sephora virgins, it’s a fabulous store that offers many many different beauty products from all the top make-up lines. There are always promotions, and if you sign up you can collect points to put towards a gift (take that Sears). Also don’t forget to come in on your birthday to pick up your your complimentary birthday gift.


Above is a photo of E! News’s Giuliana Rancic from when I was shopping in Sephora in New York City about a month ago. Don’t expect to see her in the Halifax location, but you can find helpful staff that will help you find the right products so you can get her sun kissed glow. I found the staff in New York to be very knowledgeable, and very friendly; hope this translates to the Halifax location.


Step aside Sears, and Shoppers Drug mart, Sephora is coming to town.
