The port-a-potty at Saunders Park on Paper Mill Lake was thrown into the lake. It is being retrieved and being installed in a cage to prevent further senseless vandalism.

The lake has been tested for unlikely contamination, and we will have the results later today. The beach area will likely re-open when the results are received.

Please call HRP at 490-5020 if you know those responsible for this stupidity! Up to now it has been pretty quiet this summer in the area, due to increased policing.
