I have very little time online to do much of anything other than check in on my email, facebook, blog, and read a handful of my favorite mama blogs each day. When I’m interested in buying something, usually the first thing I do is search it for reviews, then if I still want it, I search again trying to figure out where to buy it. Then I’m left frustrated trying to find the best deal or I’m brought to online sites that don’t ship to Canada, etc. etc. and bam! an hour is gone. You’ve been there, right? Centrsource is something that’s helping to simplify the search.

It’s an online network that allows you to search for items you want in your neighborhood by simply entering your postal code. You can then search by store name if you have the specifics or by brand and let.me.tell.you. the categories are vast. You can find deals on quite literally everything from vehicles to children’s toys to real estate to travel….it’s all there. And if you’d like to look outside your neighborhood or city limits you can search Canada-wide to get an even wider reach.

But if you’re looking to stick close to your own backyard and want to know if a clothing store in your neighbourhood has any special offers or if you’re looking for a good lunch deal near your office – simply type in your postal code and search:

It’ll then show you how long the deal is good for and link you to the store’s website where you can check on the availability and make your purchase either online or in-store. Not ready to buy? You can save your offers once you create a log-in (or sign in with facebook, easy) and check back on them later. And if there are particular sellers that you enjoy purchasing from you can add them to your favorites so you’ll never miss their deals.
