HRPD reports that despite a very busy evening of calls for service, only one serious incident occurred overnight, near Strath Lane and Caledonia.
At approximately 9PM, a group of teens approached another group and stole their candy.
From Halifax Police:
“Three teenagers (1 female, 2 males) were approached by a group of teenagers who demanded their Halloween candy. One of the group knocked down one of the victims and kicked her. When the other 2 attempted to assist her they were assaulted as well (both these victims are male), by other members of the group. Taken was a bag full of candy. Very limited info on the responsibly parties. Only description is the one of the group was a black male with a bandana. Injuries to the victims were not serious. This matter is still under investigation.”
