Armour Demolishes 1840’s Building In Latest Salvo

An 1840’s building that’s not part of the controversial waterfront development proposed by Armour was destroyed on Sunday morning.  Armour says it will appeal Halifax City Council’s decision to deny it’s plans for the Historic Properties area development.

The developer says the public supports it’s proposal to build. Amy Pugsley Frasier over at the Chronicle-Herald has the story:

On Friday, the premier said the province plans to apply for intervenor status on the appeal. On Friday, workers began readying the site by removing windows and knocking down a shed and patio.”
