Three people face charges after a traffic stop last night in Halifax.

At 9:40 p.m., police responded to Stoneybrook Court after receiving a call about two people acting suspiciously around vehicles in the parking lot. The two people got into a waiting vehicle which was leaving the area when police arrived and stopped it. Officers arrested three people and a search of the car resulted in police seizing break and enter tools and a number of electronic items that are believed to be stolen.

At this time, investigators haven’t determined who owns the electronic items. Police ask anyone from that area, or anywhere else, whose vehicle was broken into to contact police.

Twenty-one-year-old Jacob Liam Flemming of Upper Lakeville, nineteen-year-old Donald Patrick Raymond Sabine of Harrietsfield and 19-year-old Chelsea Corvona May Richard of Beaverbank each face charges of possessing break and enter tools and are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today. The investigation to determine the owners of the electronic items is on-going.
