Shortly after 3PM police received information that there was a male in the area of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street who was in possession of a firearm.
Numerous units responded and were able to take this individual into custody without incident. A loaded firearm was recovered on the individual. This individual will be charged with numerous weapons offences and held for court Monday morning.
