This week during spring break I will be spending my mornings running my fingers over hundreds of beautiful, elegant and vintage inspired items as I dream of how I’ll bring The Homemade Farm back to life again. Yes, strolling through one of the most inspiration stores I know and love – Indigo. And a latte will be involved.
Oh wait – spring break at Indigo is for the kids? 🙂
In Alberta during spring break you can sign up and visit the store each morning at 11am from the 25th to the 29th for spring break in-store activities like to listen to story time, make a craft and play some games in the kid section.
(Don’t mind the rats nest. It’s our weekend hair.)
During their play time I might have slipped away to play Easter Bunny and bought this.
This.
And this old fashioned licorice.
Indigo is widely known as Canada’s largest purveyor of ideas and inspiration. Each store is full with gorgeous items – many of which are eco-friendly and the toy section has tons of old school favorites as well as the latest gadgets for modern kids (and of course the best selection of scratch ‘n sniff stickers.) My boys love the games section and were instantly obsessed with Halloween Sound Machines they discovered. Because of course 16 terrifying halloween sound effects at the touch of a button is the best thing ever when you’re 5. (and 3 and want to be just like big brother).
Spring break on Wednesday is Ready, Set, Lego! This month, Indigo has a promotion going on for LEGO DUPLO, with 20% off all LEGO DUPLO products online and in-store until March 31st! A great time to stock up, especially if you’re planning a Lego party and need some fantastic party favors!
What are your plans for spring break? Other than the fun filled week at Indigo we’ll be doing lots of catching up on sleep and a fun activity each day. We started the week off with glow golfing and tomorrow will be a visit to Indigo and a movie date with my boys!
Enjoy your week, mamas!
