On May 17th at approx. 5:40PM members of the East Division Quick Response Unit and East Patrol Officers responded to a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle. 

The vehicle, a Honda Accord, stolen from Bible Hill had been seen in the Akerley Blvd area in Dartmouth. The unoccupied vehicle was located at 15 Akerley Blvd. Surveillance was set up on the car. At approx. 6:35PM  three parties were observed entering the vehicle, it was subsequently stopped and the occupants in the car were arrested without incident. The result of the investigation was as follows:

 

A 24 year old male from Cole Harbour will be facing Theft / Possession and Breach charges – he has been held and will appear Dartmouth Provincial Court on Tues. May 21.

A 23 year old male from Greenwood will be facing Theft & Possession charges – he has been released and will appear in court at a later date.

A 21 year old female from Carroll’s Corner will be facing Theft / Possession and drug related charges – she has been released and will appear in court at a later date.
