Tuesday, August 13, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Beginning Wednesday, August 14th, work will begin to complete the connection of a new natural gas main and service line to be installed along South Park Street near South Street in Halifax.

The pipe installation and subsequent re-paving is expected to take up to one week. During construction, it is expected that one lane in each direction will be maintained at all times, and that the traffic signals at the intersection of South and South Park streets will remain in operation. Motorists should still expect some minor delays and are requested to find alternate routes if possible.

Heritage Gas and HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
