The Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) executed a search warrant at a local residence and seized cocaine, marijuana and a quantity of cash.

Last evening, at approximately 10 p.m.

, RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence located on Commission Street in the town of Shelburne. Approximately 20 grams of individually packaged cocaine was found and seized. In addition, police seized approximately 15 grams of marijuana and over a thousand dollars in cash.

Kara Ashley Doane, age 22, was arrested without incident at the residence. Damien Gordon Foster Pushie, age 21, was arrested a short time later at another location in the town of Shelburne. Both subjects, who are from the Shelburne area, were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in Barrington Provincial Court today. They are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. The investigation is continuing.
