At approximately 7:30 PM Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle accident located at Hollis St. and Duke St. involving a Metro Transit bus and a car. 

An occupant from the car involved was taken to the QE11 for a medical assessment and later released.  The driver of the Metro Transit bus was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for Failing to stop at a red light. There were no reported injuries to passengers on the Metro Transit bus.
