Kings District RCMP would like to inform the public of a Ground and Search exercise that will take place in the Halls Harbour area of Kings County on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 starting at 10 a.m.

Valley Search and Rescue, Kings County, in co-operation with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Emergency Management Organization, are conducting a search exercise that will last for the majority of the day. The exercise is being conducted to enhance the team skills and efficiencies that are needed when called to real events.

The public can expect to see increased activity in the area, including emergency personnel and vehicles.
