Old Sambro Road
At 730 PM, members responded to a complaint of an accident where the vehicle was rolled over on its roof. The occupants were possibly injured. Upon arrival there were no injuries and one of the occupants had left before police arrival. A vehicle returned with the driver of the car and another male A firearm was located in the vehicle and two people were taken into custody. A 42 year old and a 36 year old male will face weapons charges and will appear at a later date.


Joseph Young Street
At 330AM, a call was received that a male was being chased by another male. The victim stated that he was chased by another male with a handgun. When caught, the suspect threatened the male with the gun.  The male then left of foot. There were no injuries and no shots fired. The suspect is a black male, about 150 pounds. He has not been located and the matter is still under investigation. This is not believed to be a random act.

Herring Cove Road
Members were called to an apartment at 500PM,as the landlord found 4 bullet holes in a ground floor apartment window. The tenants had moved out and had left some furniture in the apartment. The landlord checked the apartment and the tenants were gone. There does not appear to be any injuries as nobody was located. . A canvass resulted in neighbours hearing a banging around 0130 hours the previous morning and a car driving off. There is no description of the car. It is believed that the apartment has been empty for some time.
