Hey Nicole, where you been?

Well, Adam and I are having a bit of trouble these days.

Whoa.  Are you guys ok?  What’s going on?

Ugh. It’s a lot of sh*t really.  But I don’t really want to talk about in the blog.

Oh… I can understand that.  Will you guys be ok?

Yeah, I think so.  But we need to clear some things up between us.  It’s going to take some time I think.

Huh. Well, I hope it works out for you.  Um… does that mean the blog is dead until things are settled?

Good question.  You know I find it hard to write the blog and not talk about what’s on my mind.  And right now what’s on my mind is my relationship.  So it’s times like these that writing about mannequins and street parties gets a bit old.  Superficial, you know?  I just can’t do it.  But I also don’t want to share the private parts of my marriage with the world.

Of course… But, you know, maybe you can talk about other things?  Maybe just some pics of what’s happening in The Hague this summer?  If it’s not too superficial for you… It’s just nice to see what’s happening in your city.  That’s always fun.

Ok.  I’ll try.  In fact, right now I’m in Montpellier taking a French language course.

It’s pretty amazing actually.  I’m with a girlfriend.  Great weather.  Cool people.  Most impressive is how terrible my French is.  Ha!  I thought I was better than I am.  But I am not.  Tu vois?

Yeah, I think so… you’re having a good time but your French is bad.

Ah, it’s ok.  I’m here for a week so I really expect to improve.
