a healthy costco cart: what to buy? | pictures of my (mostly) organic, gluten-free grocery load

Footie jammies, yoga pants, 10 year supply of windshield washer fluid…sound like your cart after a quick trip for groceries at Costco? It’s difficult to not come home with a cart full of things you don’t really need when shopping at Costco, but I’ve finally learned to (mostly) shop for only groceries and generally only go if I need a full load. If I go in there to just grab a couple things, chances are I’ll come out with $175 worth of who knows what.

Costco is the ideal place to buy unhealthy, convenience foods for cheap but with a little practice and really taking time to read the labels it can be a healthy food superstore for those who eating clean, organic, gluten-free diets AND it can actually save you quite a bit of money.

Not too long ago I shared an instagram pic of our “healthy, organic, mostly gluten free cart” and received comments and emails asking me to share what’s in my cart.

So let’s get started!

A treat for mama: Tazo Chai Latte (to mix with milk).
