One of the world’s oldest songs isn’t about love, sex or power. It’s about death. ‘Dies Irae’, the Song of Death (performed in one take for this video) is one of the oldest songs in the world. It goes back to the beginning of musical time … about 1300 years. The mystery of this particular piece of music is that it keeps showing up from the Dark Ages to modern times in Star Wars and the Lion King.
