A new Marcelle AC-Solution review

I had told you before about my love and appreciation to the Marcelle AC-Solution line. It has been helping me a lot, and I still use the whole 3 steps every other day as a maintenance regime. When I was told about a new product in the line that I would receive to review, I was just over the moon, as it is exactly just what I need.

Here it is, Marcelle AC-Solution Daily Purifying Exfoliating Gel.

I love all kinds of exfoliators/ scrubs, as I always feel I don’t clean my face well enough everyday with regular cleansers, and I also love the soft feeling of my skin after a good scrub. And if it could help control my acne along the way, I’m all for it. I already know this line works for me, so an addition to it is just great news.

Comes in a tube of 4.3 oz/ 125 ml, and as the name suggests, it is a gel with lots of micro particles to do the exfoliating job. On the left is how it comes out of the tube, and on the right is when it is spread out.

And as expected, the gel does a good job in cleaning my face, rubbing off all the makeup (except for eye makeup cause I don’t bring it anywhere near my eyes), leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. It does have a mild scent, which I don’t mind. I find the particles are not gently enough for every day use, however, so adjust the usage to your skin condition, as you don’t want to over do it.

I have used this product for a few weeks now in conjunction with the Clarifying Lotion (a toner) and the Imperfection Corrector (a spot treatment), no negative effects on my skin. I have them all lined up in my bathroom counter, looking all pretty lol.

Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Polyethylene, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, etc.

Suggested retail price: $14.25, but I have some money saving tips for you.

At the moment, Shoppers have the bonus packs out where you get the spot treatment for free with purchase of the cleanser/ exfoliator/ toner. That’s a $10 bonus. The spot treatment is a must in my book, so I certainly stocked up. Each pack set me back for CAD14.25. Yay!

For those who live in the Maritimes, Lawtons also have these combo packs and Marcelle is 20% off this week. Good timing?

It doesn’t stop there. Right now you can print off a $2 off coupon from Marcelle website for extra saving – good until February 2011.

Hope you all start the new week right. Squirt is running a fever, so I am staying home today 🙁
