Jill: To me, Christmas is a time for sipping eggnog next to the Yule Log crackling on the television, spending time with your favorite fictional family via Parenthood DVDs, and engaging in the beloved tradition of excess consumerism. So what do you get the TV critic who’s watched it all? This is what I’m asking Santa for this year:

1)   To hang out with the gang from Happy Endings 

2)   To appear on (and win, of course) The Amazing Race: Canada with Rob, usurp Carly Rae Jepsen as Canada’s sweetheart, get my own talk show.

3)   To be given the entire wardrobe of Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess on New Girl.

4)   For dextertheofficecat.tumblr.com to be turned into a sitcom on Animal Planet.
