A woman from Dartmouth is facing charges of Uttering Threats after an altercation on Conrad’s Beach

A woman from Dartmouth is facing charges of Uttering Threats after an altercation on Conrad’s Beach in Lawrencetown prior to 10 a.m. Monday morning.

Two women, ages 30 and 24, were walking on the beach with their dog when the dog picked up a pair of shoes that were lying in the sand. Unknown to the two women, the shoes contained a cell phone and a vape. The dog was using the shoes as a toy when the 22-year-old woman, who was further down the beach and owner of the shoes, is alleged to have become irate while running towards the women, threatening to cause harm to them.

As a result, the 22-year-old woman was arrested without incident at the beach and is facing two counts of Uttering Threats. She was released from custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on October 10 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is continuing.
