A Writer Who Has Mastered His Craft

Ian Colford’s first story was published in 1983. In this Sound Bites Video he talks about his latest offering, Evidence Evidence is a collection of stories based around a central protagonist and has been shortlisted for the 2009 Margaret and John Savage First Book Award and the Thomas Head Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize. Ian has previously had more than twenty pieces of fiction, reviews and essays published in a variety of periodicals. His work has won awards and has been nominated for the Journey Prize. He lives in Halifax and for the last twenty years has laboured at Dalhousie University.
