Accident Results In Arrest For Stolen Vehicle

On Thurs. Jan. 17th at 12:48 AM – HRP officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Breeze Dr. in Dartmouth.

Witnesses stated that a male party operating a Black Honda Civic lost control of his vehicle, struck a light pole then fled the area on foot. It was quickly determined that the vehicle had been stolen from the Tantallon area on Jan. 10th. Responding patrol officers set up containment in the area while a K9 officer began a track. Approximately 22 minutes later the track came to a succcessful end on Avenue Du Portage with the arrest of a 22 year old male from the Pockwock area.
