ADHD conference comes to Spryfield library

The Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Association of NS presents: Neurodevelopmental Disorders in the Home, Community & in the Classroom.
This is a conference for parents, educators, and medical professionals.
Thursday, November 10th, 2011, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Dr. Ross Greene, associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, will offer a lecture on the difficulties of kids with behavioural challenges and why traditional discipline isn’t effective at addressing these difficulties. In this presentation, Dr. Greene will provide practical guidance for teachers, parents, administrations, and kids.
