Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of Agricola Street in Halifax will be closed for brief periods during the day Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, while several large processing tanks are installed at the nearby Oland Brewery.
On Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Agricola will be closed to vehicle traffic between Russell Street and Young Street. The same section will be closed for the same periods on Saturday.
Pedestrians will continue to have access to the area during these closures. Motorists are advised there will be some traffic delays at the noted times and are encouraged to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
