Alexander Keith’s 223rd Birthday

Join this event on October 5th at the Keith’s Brewery in celebration for Alexander Keith’s 223rd birthday.

In honour of this joyous occasion, come enjoy the classic, as well as some limited edition beers, music, food, games and much more, spread across the brewery and courtyard.

The event is free and attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. The capacity is limited. Festivities start at 5 p.m.

Your attendance at the brewery celebration grants you access to The Lower Deck as of 9 p.m., where the Birthday celebration continues. Signal Hill will be rocking this East Coast Fanfare into the night.

If you want to start earlier you can win the chance to participate in the Birthday March running October 5th during the day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Enter by visiting one of the following bars between now and Sept 30th:

The Auction House
Durty Nelly’s
Ale House
The Midtown Tavern

Lucky Keith’s Fans participating in the Birthday March will get to be a part of a guided tour of Halifax’s finest beer establishments led by a bagpiper, along with VIP treatment at each location and free swag.

Brewery Birthday Celebration: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Alexander Keith’s Brewery (1496 Lower Water St.)
Birthday After Party: 9 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. at The Lower Deck (1887 Upper Water St.)

“ENJOY RESPONSIBLY. * NO PURCHASE NECESSARY (ballot available from server upon request). Must be legal drinking age. There are 20 “Birthday March” passes available to be won at each participating location (The Auction House, Durty Nelly’s, Niche, Ale House, and The Midtown Tavern, Halifax). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants. Skill-testing question required. Contest closes September 30, 2018 at 4:00am. Contest draw on or about October 1, 2018 at 9:00pm EST.
