Results shows are pretty boring, so let’s get to the good stuff – how thrilled was I that the guy who is YouTube famous for “The Evolution of Dance” graced the AGT stage? Answer: SO thrilled!
What, you thought I was going to talk about results? We’ll get to that. But the highlight of the show was the Evolution of Dance performance. That guy is up there in my all-time favorite YouTube videos, along with the Filipino inmates’ performance of Thriller, “Charlie bit me” and pretty much anything involving cats.
Another highlight of the show was a performance from YouTube sensation…OK I forget his name, but let’s just call him “Kid with the Bowl Cut who sings like Celine Dion”. Or he goes by Lin Yu Chun. Or Jimmy. Whatever his name is, he’s great.
OK, the results. Maestro Alexander Bui, Dan Sperry, Jackie Evancho and Kristina Young. All decent choices, though the only contender for winner in the group is probably young Jackie.
