Annapolis County RCMP have charged two men in relation to a break, enter and theft incident that occurred in Middleton on June 13th, 2014.
In the early morning hours of June 13th, Gates Landing Convenience & Outdoor in Middleton was broken into.
Over $4000 worth of cigarettes was stolen along with other items. On June 18th at 8 p.m., a search warrant was executed at a Middleton residence by members of the Annapolis RCMP Detachment and the Street Crime Unit. Several items were seized, including the recovery of some cigarettes. As a result of the search, two 19-year-old men from Middleton were arrested without incident.
Both men are facing charges of Break, Enter and Theft and Possession of Property obtained by Crime. They were released on court documents and will appear in Annapolis Provincial Court on September 8th, 2014. The investigation is continuing.
