I had the pleasure of talking to Marjorie Willison this week. Although she recently retired from Chebucto Connections, Marjorie is busy as ever. She’s spent some of her time writing a book called “Come Grow With Us: A Family Guide to Growing Vegetables.
” The book will be launched Thursday, August 12 at 7pm during a celebration at the Urban Farm on Rockingstone Road and Ardwell Ave. You can purchase a signed copy at the event and also tour the garden. There may be garden produce for sale too.
