Another Pedestrian Struck in Crosswalk

At approximately 9:21 last night, Halifax Regional Police responded to a car vs. pedestrian collsion on Windsor at Welsford Street in Halifax. A 27 year old female was crossing Windsor Street when she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken to the QE2 by EHS with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 73 year old male from Halifax, was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
