Antigonish County District RCMP investigates suspicious death, Antigonish, N.S.


Antigonish County District RCMP is currently investigating a suspicious death in Antigonish.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. last night, RCMP received a 911 call which led police to a residence on Braemore Ave. Upon arrival at scene, RCMP found a 38-year-old male deceased.

At this time the death is being treated as suspicious.

Investigators with the RCMP Northeast Nova Major Crimes and the RCMP Forensic Identification Service are presently at the home.

The investigation is in its early stages and at this time no additional details are being released.
