Antigonish Man Charged for Causing Dog to be in Distress

Angus Cameron, 18, from Antigonish, has been charged with causing an animal to be in distress, contrary to Section 26 (1) of the Animal Protection Act of Nova Scotia.

On July 27, 2023, the Nova Scotia SPCA received a complaint about a dog allegedly being abused. After an investigation, the accused was located in Halifax Regional Municipality and charged.

Cameron is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court on December 20, 2023.
