At approx. 10:00 PM members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Rotary Esso located at 7151 Chebucto Rd. in Halifax.

 A lone male suspect entered the store, threatened the female clerk, and demanded cash. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash , he then fled the store. No weapon was observed and the 23 year old store employee was not injured during the incident. Multiple units checked the surrounding area but the suspect was not located.

 

Suspect description: white male, mid 20’s, medium build, 6 ‘ tall, black hair wearing a blue – blue jays jersey with #13 on the back, long black shorts, black dress shoes and a baseball cap.

 

This matter remains under investigation at this time and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
