Armed robbery in Lake Echo, Lake Echo, N.S.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening in Lake Echo. At approximately 10:45 p.m. on August 1st, 2014, Cole Harbor RCMP officers and investigators from the integrated General Investigation Section responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business in the 2500-3000 area on Highway 7 in Lake Echo.

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening in Lake Echo.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on August 1st, 2014, Cole Harbor RCMP officers and investigators from the integrated General Investigation Section responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business in the 2500-3000 area on Highway 7 in Lake Echo.

Three masked suspects entered the business and used firearms to threaten a 59-year-old male employee. The suspects then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not injured.
