Arrest after man smashes windows along Argyle Street

Police have charged a man in relation to multiple incidents of property damage in Halifax yesterday.

On June 19 at approximately 6 a.m. officers responded to a report of man in downtown Halifax breaking windows at five businesses on Argyle Street and Grafton Street. Police arrested the suspect without incident.

A 29-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face five counts of mischief.
