At 3:05 am, HRP officers responded to a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the area of Artillery Place and Birmingham Street. The victim indicated that he was approached by a male with a firearm in his waste and he demanded he empty his pockets. When a vehicle approached the suspect then fled the area in a silver colored older model Honda Civic . The suspect was described as a dark skinned male, short black hair, short beard, baseball style grey t-shirt with cursive writing. The suspect vehicle was located and a traffic stop initiated at Bayers Road and Micmac Street and two occupants were taken into custody without incident. The victim was not injured in this altercation and the matter is still under investigation and is currently being linked to a second attempted robbery call involving a sensory irritant.
