Arrests made after weapon and drugs found during a traffic stop in Halifax

At approximately 8 pm a 24 year old male and a 24 year old female were arrested during a traffic stop in the area of Young Street and Kempt Road in Halifax. A handgun, ammunition, cash, and a quantity of controlled substances were seized. Both individuals will be making a morning court appearance to face multiple weapons and drug charges.
