Arrests made in Cole Harbour stabbing incident

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division has arrested two people in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Cole Harbour on January 28.

On Saturday, at approximately 1:29 p.m., Halifax District RCMP and EHS responded to a report of a stabbing at a business on Cole Harbour Rd. Upon arrival at the scene, officers learned that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed. He was taken to hospital with life-threating injuries.

This afternoon, officers from the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division General Investigation Section arrested two people involved in the incident.

A 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both of Halifax, were held in custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court tomorrow to face charges of Attempt to Commit Murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
