On 2012-07-15 at 18:27 pm  Halifax District RCMP are currently investigating an assault with a weapon at the McDonalds Restaurant in Tantallon.  

Two teenage girls were in an altercation between the two sets of doors entering the McDonalds restaurant.  A 17 year old girl was sprayed with some dog spray.  The two parties ran out of the restaurant and the suspect fled.

 

Police attempted to interview the victim however she is currently not cooperating with the police. The victim knows the assailant and this was not a random act.

No one else was sprayed however some patrons may have been contaminated slightly by the irritant.  The Halifax RCMP continue to investigate.
