Police are investigating an assault that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. police responded to a report of an injured man near the Halifax Transit Bridge Terminal on Nantucket Avenue. A man was located and transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation provided that a man was in an altercation with the victim and then assaulted him causing his injuries. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
