Two men are in custody after an incident at a Dartmouth mall.
From HRPD:
At approximately 8:30 pm 2 males had loaded a shopping cart full of electronics at the Zellers store located at 21 MicMac Blvd. These 2 males then left the store with the electronics without making any attempt to pay for these items. When the males were approached by a security guard, one of the males pulled a knife and told the security guard to back off. The 2 males then fled the area on foot without the electronics. Police responded and with the assistance of the security guard 1 male was arrested in the immediate area. A short time later the second male was arrested at an address in north end Dartmouth. The knife was also recovered from one of the suspects. No one was injured during the incident. A 54 year old male and a 30 year old male are in police custody and will be attending court on Thursday March 31 to face theft, weapons and threats charges.
