Attempted Robbery At Needs Coburg

On October 13th at approx. 5:00 PM members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Needs Convenience Store, located at 6124 Coburg Rd in Halifax. 
The store clerk stated that a masked man entered the store, brandished an unidentified weapon at him and then demanded money. The clerk stated that he did not have any money and the suspect fled the store running towards Robie St. The suspect was described as a white male, 25-30 yrs of age, wearing a red hoodie and a beige jacket with red sleeves, the suspect had a black cloth covering his face.
Nothing was stolen, no one was injured during the incident. The matter remains under investigation at this time.
