Attempted Robbery In Dartmouth

 

Police are looking for a suspect after an attempted robbery on Queen Street in Dartmouth this morning.

At approximately 7:00 am this morning a 35 year old female was walking in the area of Queen St and Wentworth St in Dartmouth. As she was walking along the sidewalk she was confronted by another female, who was armed with a knife, and demanded the victim's purse. The victim yelled out for help and struck the suspect several times with her purse. The suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was not injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white female, in her 20's, 5'3" in height, 105 lbs, wearing a dark coloured 3/4 length jacket, with a multi coloured knit hat.
