Attempted robbery on Sackville Street

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Halifax.

At approximately 7 p.m. police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the 5200 block of Sackville Street in Halifax. The suspects approached a man and woman who were walking in the area.  One of the suspects threatened the man and woman and demanded cash. The suspects fled empty-handed on foot. The victims were not physically injured.

The suspect who made the threats is described as a white man, 25-35 years old, approximately 5’9″, with multiple facial tattoos. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black puffy jacket. The other suspect is described as a man wearing a puffy black jacket, a hat and a face mask.
