Attend a consultation about a proposed cultural arts centre

The Cobequid Cultural Society would like the public to attend consultation meetings about a proposed cultural arts centre. The meetings will take place throughout February and March (see below for dates).

The Cobequid Cultural Society invites the public to attend a consultation about a proposed regional cultural arts centre attached to the new high school that will replace C.P. Allen High School.

The “vision so far”:

–A multifunctional creative learning and performance centre serving the school and the Cobequid Region (Northwest HRM and beyond), based on a strong education and community partnership.
-A place for theatre, music, dance, performance, school musicals, conventions, festivals, corporate and community events: “It’s more than an auditorium!”
-A meeting place that serves as a focal point in our area where people can gather and interconnect, close to home.
-Inspired by the successful collaboration of all the communities that built the Cobequid Community Health Centre.
