Attention green thumbs: Halifax greenhouse open to the public Saturday, May 26

(May 24, 2012) – Now that spring is in full bloom, it’s time to dig in to gardening. This weekend, HRM’s horticulture staff is offering gardening enthusiasts an opportunity to see how the professionals do it.
HRM cultivates most of the plants and flowers for its parks and open spaces On May 26, come meet HRM gardeners, ask questions and check out their educational displays.
They will be welcoming all anyone interested in seeing how the greenhouse operates and learning more about gardening.
WHEN: Saturday, May 26, 2012 – 9 am -3 pm
WHERE: HRM Greenhouse, 5711 Sackville Street
