Phil Currie, Executive Director of Atlantic University Sport and Chair of the Organizing Committee announces the 2011 Honorary Chair as well as several other details being planned for the 2011 event. Jim Charters, head coach of the CIS No. 5-ranked Cape Breton Capers will be on hand, along with Dalhousie Tigers head coach John Campbell and Saint Mary’s Huskies head coach Ross Quackenbush.
Also in attendance were a number of AUS stars, including current CIS leading-scorer Joey Haywood, reigning CIS Defensive Player of the Year Phil Nkrumah, and Dalhousie’s Simon Farine, a three-time AUS all-star and MVP of the 2009 AUS championship held in Halifax.
