How fun is it going to a mall shopping with two children, a bulky stroller, toddlers that are hungry every 10 minutes and a bored OR over-stimulated preschooler? Not my idea of a good time. The only time I take the children to the mall is to “get out” and let them run wild through West Edmonton Mall. I’m rarely there for actual shopping, because shopping with kids is a complete and utter nightmare. And a taking them to a baby boutique with skinny aisles and WAY too much stuff to grab? Not even an option. The last time I was in a boutique with my two boys was before Christmas to pick up our Elf on the Shelf and I (and likely the boutique owner) was panicked and sweating the entire time just waiting for something to get broken.
Moms are all too familiar with this, which is why a lot of the time we turn to online shopping whether for ourselves and for our children. It’s simple, it’s quick and even though you might have to wait a little bit for your items to arrive by mail, it’s MUCH better than the headache and pure exhaustion that comes with shopping with kids. Am I right mamas?!
Baby Grins is a local online boutique near me who ships all over Canada and the US. Everything from tiny accessories to children’s bikes and every item is highly recommended by owner, Marcie Paige. And if the products don’t live up to hers or your expectations, she drops the line from her store and moves on.
Browsing through the store, I see a ton of quality products that I love and use everyday, like Original Sprout. I originally reviewed the line a while back and have since been stuck on the products for myself.
A day doesn’t go by when I don’t use the Original Sprout Miracle Detangler in my own hair. I LOVE IT! My hair is fine and conditioner really weighs it down so much so that I don’t like to use conditioner everyday. But combing out my hair after only shampooing is a nightmare since it’s color treated. With a few sprays of Miracle Detangler, it’s super easy to comb out and I don’t have any breakage!! It smells fantastic, there’s no formaldehyde & lye (Hydantoin DMDM & Sodium Hydroxide found in many adult and children’s detanglers).
Another product I received to try from Baby Grins was the Original Sprout Natural Hair Balm for my my boys. It works really well to create a spikey ‘do and the hold is excellent for a balm. You only need a tiny amount to work through their hair…so one jar should last about 6 months for my two boys. If you have girls, it’s perfect for keeping barrettes in place, braids and updo’s smooth and in place and fly-aways tamed.
Before preschool, Aidan spiked his hair up at 8:30. This picture below was at 2pm…his hair is still spikey while he enjoys a homemade popsicle 🙂
I’ve enjoyed the Original Sprout line for a couple years now and highly recommend it. It’s gentle, smells so nice and most importantly works really really well. It’s a professional line found in spas and salons.
