Baddeck RCMP have charged a 53-year-old Halifax man with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Shortly after 8:45 p.m. last evening, Baddeck RCMP responded to a call of suspicious persons in South Haven near the Highway 105.

Police attended the area and determined that two people were present for a drug deal. RCMP arrested one man and seized 175 Hydromorph Contin and 150 Dilaudid pills.

The vehicle was seized and the man will appear in court today for a Bail Hearing. The investigation is continuing.
